Update following the Department for Education announcement
You may have heard that the Department for Education has recently stopped the subsidy currently available to Ofsted registered childcare providers and their employees for Enhanced criminal records checks by the DBS (formerly CRB) from 1 July 2013.

What this means for your organisation:
From the 1 July 2013, your organisation will be required to pay for the Enhanced Criminal Records check required for any new employee joining your business, as well as for any re-checking of existing employees that you currently undertake.
How will I submit a DBS (CRB) check after the 1 July?
If you are an existing customer, you will still be able to run all your DBS checks through us – the process will be exactly the same as before. If you are currently using an alternative provider for your DBS checks, you will be able to sign up to Disclosures Early Years quickly and easily, and start running your checks the same day.
How much will it cost me from the 1 July?
